About the Supply Chain Management Team 
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) team currently consists of 3 Warehouse Coordinators, 1 Logistics Coordinator, 2 Supply Chain Planners, 1 Supply Chain Administrator and the Team Lead Supply Chain Management. As the business is growing rapidly, we are expanding our SCM team. In this position you will report to the Team Lead Supply Chain Management. The SCM department takes care of continuous demand of purchase orders and logistics within Ampelmann Operations globally, in a cost and time efficient way. The challenge of the SCM department is to provide a 100% traceability and visibility of all requirements within Ampelmann.

Your role as Item Master Data Specialist
As our new Item Master Data Specialist, you are the first point of contact for any questions related to our product database. You possess a bird’s-eye view, and you are responsible for the setup and lifecycle management of product master data in D365. As Ampelmann is growing, so is our Supply Chain Management Team and its relevance within the company, which means you will be involved with many cross-functional projects with different departments and have the opportunity to work in a globally operating company. You will become a key player in our SCM team, which is operating at a fast pace, and is defined by a strong collaborative mindset, tackling challenges together as One Team. Lastly, as this is a new role in the company, we expect you to bring in your ideas to rethink, create and implement new ways of working in accordance with the expertise of our Team Lead Supply Chain Management. 

Regular activities
  • Be the beating heart of our ERP (D365) by entering and/or editing our product item master data.
  • Ensure that data is maintained accurately, from their entry to their updates.
  • Proactively communicate both with suppliers and other (internal) stakeholders to collect and provide data in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the analysis of collected data, as needed.
  • Provide support for related issues, as requested.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.

We ask
  • 2+ years of proven experience with ERP Systems, D365 experience preferred (filters, Excel plug-ins, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Management, Information Technology or equivalent experience in technical industry is preferred.
  • Outstanding command of Office 365 (MS Excel, data entry applications). 
  • You are resilient and analytical, adept at interpreting numbers and data, and skilled in communicating with diverse, multicultural stakeholders.
  • Great communication skills in English (required), Dutch (preferred).
